Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born on March 4, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress comedian, writer, and actress. O'Hara has won a number of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In addition, she was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was elected as an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first became known as an actress when she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. She was part of the main ensemble cast of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara began working with Candy in Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara was recognized for her stand-up and writing skills, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara, Steve Carell and Dwayne Colbert were included on the Second City artistic board in 2022.
